Can Hybrid Cars Run Without Battery. The Honda hybrid design is not as elegant as the Toyota design and the Honda hybrid pieces are basically pasted on. Ran into this with my moms Mercur.
My question is can we simply drive the car without ever replacing the hybrid battery. Get back on the road faster. So like the GM and Nissan hybrids it will stop if it runs dry of gasoline.

However most hybrid engines simply werent designed to operate on electricity alone. This is a very ambiguous question. Depends on which battery youre talking about. Not all hybrids have a system as complicated as Toyotas.
